Ice Cream Truck

In honor of National Ice cream day I thought I would share our first experience with chasing down the ice cream truck! I'm not going to lie, a mini van playing music driving around the neighborhood definitely creeps me out a bit but I figured every kid should experience it at least once.

I let the twins choose what they wanted, Brooklyn originally picked out a snow come but changed her mind instantly when Livy picked something different. They got a sponge bob popsicle. (I swear they have never seen that show) Maybe it resembled the minions?

We have had some exceptionally nice days between all the rain this summer thankfully and we spend them outside! After their Popsicles they were all a sticky mess, thank God for Deacon's bib catching most of his! They went straight in the bath. It may have been a little too close to bed time- they were on a sugar high and refused to go to sleep at a decent hour that night.
