Fourth Of July Weekend

Hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend! We celebrated by heading down to the parade first thing Saturday morning, then walked around the festival afterwards. The weather was amazing right along with the live music, food and games.

I unfortunately had a migraine majority of the day and was pleading with God to give me some relief so I could enjoy the day and (noise) with the kiddos. Why Did I have to have a headache on one of the loudest holidays!?

We went out to my mamas for the afternoon and lounged around, the kids ran wild while I got to nap in the hammock for a bit. We grilled out and had a really good time! The kids as always love to be at Mee-Maw and Papa's over anywhere else so they were on cloud nine.

Deacon was helping Mee Maw spray things down and started spraying his sissys as well! ^^

The twins and their teamwork! ^^They were taking turns holding one another up to get the back door open. It was quite comical so I took a video of it as well.

The twins still weren't fans of the fireworks. We tested it out by going for a drive the night before the Fourth and finding a few firework shows and hearing/seeing them from the car which resulted in them hiding their faces and covering their ears. Needless to say they had a sleep over at Mee Maw and Papa's while we took Deacon to see the fireworks and light sparklers that he wanted to grab!

We were far enough away from the fireworks they weren't quite as loud so Deacon didn't mind them. It was past his bedtime though and he started to get a little grumpy toward the end. It was a great holiday overall and we all had such a good time.

Happy Birthday America and God Bless!
